Tunisian club Esperance thrashes Ittihad Bousalem 5-0 in second friendly

Espérance Sportive de Tunis secured a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Ittihad Bousalem in their second friendly match today, Tuesday, during their training camp held in Ain Draham.

Youssef Belaïli opened the scoring for Espérance at the 25th minute, before Brazilian Lucas Ribeiro added the second goal in the 39th minute, ending the first half with the Tunisian team leading by two goals.

Espérance continued their dominance after the break, with Frenchman Florian Danho adding the third goal in the 62nd minute. Just three minutes later, Moroccan Imad Faraj scored the fourth goal in the 65th minute, while Moaz Haj Ali capped off his team's five-goal haul in the 72nd minute.

Espérance have won their first friendly match during the training camp, defeating Olympique Beja 4-0. The goals were scored by Achraf Jabri in the 47th minute, Lucas Ribeiro in the 49th minute, Youssef Belaïli in the 57th minute, and Imad Faraj in the 67th minute.

Esperance continue their preparations for the resumption of the Ligue Professionnelle 1, where they will host Olympique Beja on October 10, as part of the fifth round.

On the continental front, the team is preparing to face Al-Suwaihli from Libya in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, with the first leg taking place in Libya between October 16 and 18, and the return leg scheduled in Tunisia between October 23 and 25.
