Haaland's stance on staying with Manchester City if they are relegated

According to the same source, Erling Haaland does not intend to continue with Manchester City if the punishment leads to the team being relegated from the Premier League, while the club is preparing to appeal against the expected decision.

Arsenal and Real Madrid are interested in signing the Norwegian forward, having previously made contact with his representatives regarding a potential transfer. Meanwhile, Arsenal is planning to sign a prominent striker in 2027.

The report indicates that Haaland does not wish to stay and help rebuild Manchester City should they be relegated, while the club is aware that the player wants to leave.

However, Erling Haaland's departure will not be for a low fee, as the player's contract, which extends until 2034, does not include a clause allowing him to leave if the team is relegated, which could push the transfer fee to record levels with major clubs interested in signing him.
