Officially.. Wout Faes moves to Shabab Al-Ahli

Leicester have officially announced the transfer of Belgian defender Wout Faes to Shabab Al-Ahli during the current transfer window.

Wesley Fofana, aged 28, has ended his association with Leicester City after four years at the club, having joined in 2022 from Stade Reims.

Leicester City have confirmed in an official statement that the agreement with Shabab Al-Ahli concerns the permanent transfer of the player, with the deal contingent on obtaining an international transfer certificate. Reports indicate that the Belgian defender has signed a three-year contract with the Emirati club.

During his time at Leicester, Fofana played 136 matches in all competitions, scoring 6 goals, before deciding to embark on a new experience in the UAE Pro League. The player had spent last season on loan at AS Monaco, before returning to Leicester without having his services retained.
