Shikabala criticises Zamalek SC management over Bezerra crisis

Mahmoud Abdel Razek Shikabala, the former star of Zamalek SC, has attacked the club's management over the issue concerning Brazilian player Juan Bezerra and the way they are dealing with his departure from the team.

Shikabala stated in his remarks on the program "Football with Faiq": "As a fan, I wonder what the management has done to give a true impression to the public that reflects the value of Zamalek SC. Bezerra should have attended the club and committed to training, and the decision for his departure, whether this season or next, should come solely from the club's will."

Criticizing the administrative confusion, he added: "Zamalek SC issued an official statement confirming that Bezerra is not for sale, so what has changed after two weeks? Was the treasury full of money at the time the statement was issued? The board has deceived the fans, and they must recognize the value and name of Zamalek SC well."

Shikabala has sent a message of support to coach Mo'tamed Gamal, saying: "I tell captain Mo'tamed Gamal to continue your work, and we strongly support you."
