Atalanta officially extends Giorgio Scalvini's contract

Atalanta have announced the extension of defender Giorgio Scalvini's contract, who is 22 years old, allowing him to continue his career with the team he has progressed through since childhood.

Giorgio Scalvini joined Atalanta's academy in the summer of 2015, and since then he has progressed through various age groups at the club, before establishing himself in the first team, becoming one of the products of the "Zingonia" training center.

Atalanta have confirmed that Giorgio Scalvini has embodied the club's values on and off the pitch, noting that he has played 144 matches at the professional level for the team, despite being only 22 years old.

The contract extension comes as the young defender Giorgio Scalvini continues his journey with Atalanta, having been part of the team that experienced the historic European triumph in Dublin, further confirming his long-term commitment to the club.
