Juventus renews interest in Algeria's Rayan Aït-Nouri

Algerian international Rayan Aït-Nouri is back on Juventus' radar, as the website 'Gazzetta dello Sport' revealed that the club has renewed contact with the Manchester City left-back following initial talks between the two parties at the end of August.

According to the same source, Aït-Nouri had started during the summer to study his future options, amid concerns about the limited chances of his participation under coach Enzo Maresca, which made him open to the possibility of embarking on a new experience with Juventus.

The Algerian player remains interested in leaving during the upcoming winter transfer window, as Juventus considers signing him on loan in January, with an option to buy included in the agreement.

The current plan is to postpone the decision regarding the permanent transfer until the summer transfer window, while the Italian club is looking to strengthen the left-back position within its squad.

On the other hand, Rayan Aït-Nouri's appearances with Manchester City in the upcoming period could play a decisive role in determining his future, as "Gazzetta dello Sport" indicates that the number of minutes he will receive after the international break will be one of the influencing factors in his situation.

If his limited participation with the English team continues, the possibility of the Algerian full-back transferring to Serie A during the upcoming winter transfer window may arise.

This comes at a time when uncertainty surrounds Rayan Aït-Nouri's future with the Algeria national team, after coach Ibrahim Hamdani decided today, Saturday, to exclude him from the team's camp, three days before the match against Burundi, scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, as part of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification.

The decision to expel the player came after his behavior during Algeria's match against Zambia yesterday, Friday, and his angry reaction to the coach's decision not to include him in the second half.

The Algeria national team secured a deserved victory over Zambia with a score of 3-1 in the match held at the Hussein Aït Ahmed Stadium in Tizi Ouzou, as part of the opening round of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification 2027.
