Juventus announce Grabara undergoing surgery on cruciate ligament

Juventus have announced that goalkeeper Kamil Grabara has undergone successful surgery on his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee following an injury sustained during training, according to "Football Italy".

Grabarra has made just one appearance for Juventus, during the 5-0 victory over Nijmegen in the Europa League, after joining the team on loan from Wolfsburg in August, with an option to buy.

Luciano Spalletti has explained that the injury occurred during a normal training session, before medical examinations revealed it. The goalkeeper underwent surgery at the Guardian clinic in Konin, under the supervision of doctor André Bida and in the presence of Juventus doctor Marco Frisci.

The injury required a complete reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament in the right knee, and reports indicate that Grabarar could be absent for up to seven months, meaning his season with Juventus is over.

In the absence of the goalkeeper, Juventus have agreed a contract with Brazilian Nito, a free agent, that will run until June 2027, to compensate for Grabar's absence.
