Delay in finalising Mohamed Awad's contract renewal with Zamalek SC

Media figure Abdel Nasser Zidan reported that the management of Zamalek SC has decided to postpone the renewal file for goalkeeper Mohamed Awad, linking the step to first stabilizing the budget allocated for signings.

Zinedine Zidane explained during his talk on the "Stad Misr" program via the "Modern MTI" channel that Zamalek SC officials have not held any official meeting with Mohamed Awad yet, pointing out that the message directed to the goalkeeper was clear about the need to wait until the necessary financial liquidity is available to start negotiations.

The media indicated that Zamalek SC's management has decided to temporarily freeze negotiations regarding the renewal of goalkeeper Mohamed Awad's contract. The director of football, Abdel Nasser Mohamed, is awaiting the management's decision on the budget allocated for upcoming renewals, with Awad's case being a top priority. At the same time, it was noted that the coaching staff is completely satisfied with the goalkeeper's performance and his usual discipline.

Zinedine Zidane concluded his statements by clarifying that the full responsibility for managing and finalizing player contracts and transfer matters will officially transfer to Hossam El Zanaty and his team, following his appointment as the new contracts manager at Zamalek SC.
