Adam Ahmed joins Palestine national team after Mohamed Habous injury

Ihab Abu Jazar, coach of the Palestine national team, has made a change to the squad list after Mohammad Habous' injury. Striker Adam Ahmed has been called up to replace him during the current camp.

Danish club Iisbjerg has confirmed on its official website that Adam Ahmad will travel to Chongqing to join the Palestinian national team, marking his first call-up to the senior squad.

Habous suffered a muscle injury to his hamstring during the closing minutes of Joue's 2-1 victory over Al-Hikma, confirming his absence from the upcoming international duty, after various circumstances had previously prevented him from participating with the national team in earlier gatherings.

Habous is considered one of the standout players in the Lebanese league this season, and his absence would leave the Palestinian national team in need of a player capable of adding more speed to the attack and the ability to stretch the pitch.

Adam Ahmad, aged 23, has been chosen instead of calling up an Olympic team player, who is preparing to face Konyaspor in a friendly match on September 30. The coaching staff hopes that Ahmad's speed in the attacking third will provide the Palestinian national team with a different option in the upcoming period.
