Officially.. Fresneda joins Spain squad for UEFA Nations League

The Spanish Football Federation has called up right-back Iván Fresneda, a player for Sporting CP, to the Spain national team for the first four matches of the group stage in the UEFA Nations League.

Iván Fresneda, aged 21, was initially called up by David Gordo to join the Spain under-21 national team, before coach Luis de la Fuente decided to promote him to the senior team.

The right-back is set to join the Spain national team camp, starting on Tuesday, September 22, to replace Pedro Porro, who is injured.

Iván Fresneda has been called up to the senior national team as he participates with Sporting CP, where the player is looking to make his international debut with the Spanish national team during the upcoming competitions.
