Wesley, the right-back for AS Roma, has received another setback after being excluded from Brazil's squad during the upcoming international break due to a muscle injury he sustained recently.

According to Piavora, tests revealed that Wesley is suffering from a muscle strain in his right thigh, which led the Brazilian national team's coaching staff to exclude him from the squad, especially since the player started and played a full 90 minutes in AS Roma's 2-2 draw against Inter.

Carlo Ancelotti has decided to call up Vanderson, a player from AS Monaco, to compensate for the absence of Wesley, marking the second forced change to Brazil's squad during this period, after João Pedro was also excluded due to injury.

The injury comes just days after Wesley returned to AS Roma's collective training, following a muscular issue that kept him out of the match against Torino. He had just returned to participate against Inter, which now puts AS Roma's coaching staff in a position to monitor his condition in the coming period.
