Allegri before Fiorentina clash: De Bruyne will start and Anguissa is ready

Massimiliano Allegri, the head coach of SSC Napoli, has stated that his team enters the match against ACF Fiorentina in better physical shape, noting that the game represents an important milestone to conclude the first phase of the season before the international break.

Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that Leonardo Spinazzola will miss the match due to fatigue, but he is expected to return after the break. Meanwhile, SSC Napoli received a boost with the return of André-Frank Zambo Anguissa to group training after he had been training separately all week, making him available for ACF Fiorentina if needed.

The Italian coach spoke about Kevin De Bruyne, confirming his readiness for the match, saying: "De Bruyne is fine, he started late due to the World Cup, but I believe he will start tomorrow, and we will see how the match develops."

David Neres has fully recovered and is in better condition, with both Badiashile and Bayo also improving.

Allegri praised the young duo Vergara and Favasuli after the former was called up to the Italian national team and the latter joined the Under-21 team, emphasizing that the club should feel proud of what the players are achieving.

It has also been stressed that young players should not be burdened with excessive responsibilities, allowing them to develop quietly while relying on experienced players to lead the team.

Regarding the returning players after the break, Allegri pointed out that Scott McTominay and Alex Meret, along with Mario Marianucci in his estimation, could return to the group, emphasizing that having a full squad will be important in a long season.

He also left the door open for Noa Lang to start, saying that the player "can and must do more, as he has important qualities."
