Injury rules Pedro Porro out of Spain squad for UEFA Nations League

The Spanish Football Federation has announced that right-back Pedro Porro will miss the squad for Spain participating in the UEFA Nations League, after sustaining an injury during Tottenham's match against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Pedro Porro was among the 26 players announced by coach Luis de la Fuente yesterday, Friday, in preparation for Spain's first match of the new season.

The Spanish Football Federation has confirmed that the player suffered an injury during the match between Tottenham and Aston Villa, leading the coaching staff to exclude him from the upcoming camp.

The Spain national team currently has 25 players, awaiting a decision from De la Fuente on whether to call up a replacement for Porro.
