Bayern Münich targets standout defensive signing

The source added that the deal may heavily depend on the future of South Korean Min-jae Kim, who Bayern Münich were open to selling during the last summer transfer window.

Despite this, Bayern Münich are currently planning to open new negotiations with Min-jae Kim regarding his contract, which could affect their final decision on moving to sign Araujo.

Thomas Araújo is 24 years old and continues to attract interest from several European clubs, while Min-jae Kim's situation and future with Bayern Münich will be key factors in determining the club's move for a defender from SL Benfica.
