Al-Fotuwa SC signs 5 Palestinian players ahead of new season

Al-Fotuwa SC, based in Deir ez-Zor, has announced its contract with five Palestinian players to represent the team during the new season, benefiting from the Syrian Football Association's decision to treat Palestinian players as local players.

Al-Fotuwa SC have included Qasem Obeid, Bara' Kharoub, Amin Mazid, Amr Rizq, and Omar Sawaftah in their squad.

These signings come as part of the efforts by Syrian clubs to strengthen their squads with Palestinian players, following the decision that opened the door for an increased presence of Palestinian players in Syrian football competitions.

The number of Palestinian players recently transferred to Syrian clubs has increased, with expectations of new names joining during the remaining period of the transfer market.
