Barcelona repeats historic achievement after João Cancelo's early goal

FC Barcelona continued their strong start in recent LaLiga matches, scoring in the first eight minutes of the fourth consecutive game, following an early goal from João Cancelo against Racing.

According to "Sport", FC Barcelona has not achieved this streak since the 1942/1943 season, having managed to score within the first eight minutes in four consecutive matches in LaLiga.

The streak began against Valencia, when Lamine Yamal scored FC Barcelona's goal in the 6th minute. This was followed by Raphinha's goal against Feyenoord in the 3rd minute, before Xavi Espart found the net in the 5th minute during the clash with Levante.

The streak was completed against Racing, as João Cancelo opened the scoring in the 8th minute with a stunning shot from the edge of the penalty area, allowing FC Barcelona to continue finding the net early in the match for the fourth consecutive encounter.

João Cancelo did not settle for an early goal, as he returned in the 36th minute to score his second of the match, unleashing a powerful shot from distance, raising his tally to 8 goals in a Barcelona shirt during his three spells with the Catalan team.

This series reflects Barcelona's strong attacking start in their recent LaLiga matches, as the team has managed to score early against four consecutive opponents, a feat they have not achieved in over eight decades.
