Henderson signs new contract with Crystal Palace until 2030

Crystal Palace have announced the renewal of captain and goalkeeper Dean Henderson's contract, which will keep him at the club until 2030.

Henderson is considered one of the key figures of the club's golden era, having led the team to win the UEFA Europa Conference League, where he captained during the knockout stages all the way to the final in Leipzig.

Since joining Crystal Palace from Manchester United in August 2023, the 29-year-old goalkeeper has played 119 matches for the team, keeping a clean sheet in 38 of those matches. He has also made five international appearances for the England national team.

Henderson's journey with Palace has been marked by several significant moments, most notably his save from a penalty against Manchester City in the 2025 FA Cup final, before he delivered impressive performances against Liverpool in the Community Shield match at Wembley, and then led the team with the captain's armband during their continental campaign towards glory.

Steve Parish, the chairman of Crystal Palace, said: "In addition to being an outstanding goalkeeper, Dean is our captain and a leadership figure in the team, and I am very happy for him to continue with us."
