Algerian federation moves to sign RC Lens talent for the Greens
Reports have revealed that the Algerian Football Federation has begun its efforts to attract RC Lens talent Meziane Msloub, having contacted his father Walid Msloub, the former Algerian international, to discuss the possibility of the player representing the Algerian national team by changing his sporting nationality.
Algeria's Football Federation is keen to follow emerging talents in Europe, particularly as Mziyan Masloub has stood out with RC Lens, having participated in the UEFA Champions League for youth, making him one of the names the federation sees as a potential future addition to the national team.
According to the same source, Walid Masloub has requested a grace period from the Algerian Football Federation to allow his son to focus entirely on his future with RC Lens and to avoid distractions at this important stage, while the young player continues to work on establishing himself within the French club.
The Algerian Football Federation plans to hold a meeting with Meziane Msloub and his family after the upcoming international break in October, to present the national team's project and explain its vision regarding his international future. This step could pave the way for the RC Lens talent to join the Greens in the near future.
