Dr. Mostafa El-Moniri, head of the medical staff at Pyramids FC, revealed the latest developments regarding the injury of Osama Galal, confirming that he has undergone surgery to treat a leg fracture he sustained during recent training with the sky-blue team.
Al-Muniri explained that Osama Galal underwent surgery at a hospital in Dokki to internally stabilize the fracture, which required the insertion of screws to secure the leg and repair the break.
The head of the medical staff indicated that the player will stay in the hospital under medical observation for several days, before leaving and returning home to continue the stages of treatment and rehabilitation.
Al-Muniri confirmed that Osama Galal's absence will range from 4 to 6 months, depending on his rehabilitation program and his response to treatment during the upcoming phase, with the necessity of adhering to the rehabilitation program in an ideal manner.
Pyramids FC are set to face Kenyan side Gor Mahia tomorrow, Sunday, in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
