Mastantuono becomes youngest foreigner to score a hat-trick in Serie A
Franco Mastantuono has etched his name in Serie A history after leading ACF Fiorentina to a significant 4-2 victory over Venezia, scoring a historic hat-trick in the fourth round of the competition.
The Argentine star scored his three goals in the 29th, 30th, and 84th minutes, after Akor Adams had given Venezia the lead in the 22nd minute. Franco Mastantuono turned the match around single-handedly in just one minute, before returning in the second half to complete his hat-trick.
With this achievement, Franco Mastantuono, aged 19 years and 28 days, has become the youngest foreign player ever to score a hat-trick in Serie A, surpassing previous records in the competition. He has also become the youngest player in the history of ACF Fiorentina to achieve this feat.
Franco Mastantuono's first hat-trick in Serie A serves as a strong launch for the Argentine star, who joined ACF Fiorentina this summer from Real Madrid, contributing an exceptional performance to give his team their first three points of the season during the first match for coach Paolo Vanoli after his return to lead the team.
