Lamine Yamal took the captain's armband in the 71st minute, following the substitution of his teammate Raphinha, thus breaking the previous record held by Bojan Krkić, as he wore the armband at the age of 19 years and 58 days.

Lamine Yamal confirmed his leadership presence by scoring a goal from a free kick just six minutes after wearing the captain's armband, giving FC Barcelona a four-goal lead in the match.

The young player made a significant impact at the start of the match, assisting Raphinha's opening goal just three minutes after the whistle, before also contributing to the second goal, which was scored by Gabriel Jesus.
