Allegri: No tactical change and we want to play our cards against Arsenal
Massimiliano Allegri, the head coach of SSC Napoli, has confirmed that his team will not make any special tactical changes in preparation for their match against Arsenal, emphasizing his team's desire to deliver a strong performance in their opening game of the UEFA Champions League.
Allegri said: "There will be no tactical changes. McTominay will not be present, having undergone heart surgery, and Anguissa will also be absent due to a muscle problem."
Napoli's coach spoke about David Neres' condition, explaining: "Neres? It's different, we'll see if his knee is hurting, and if the pain continues, he won't participate either," while awaiting the final decision regarding his readiness for the match.
Allegri added: "The UEFA Champions League is different from the league. There are 8 matches, and we need 12 points to qualify. We want to deliver a good performance, and the European competition gives you more motivation and adrenaline."
Regarding the match against Arsenal, SSC Napoli's coach said: "We are facing a strong team, and we want to play our cards right. We are also a strong team, and there is a great desire to play these matches and face this level. When the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona is full, we are ready to fight."
