Hicham Boudaoui enters CSKA Moscow's plans to strengthen midfield
Algerian international Hicham Boudaoui is on the radar of Russian club CSKA Moscow, which is looking to strengthen its squad during the current transfer window, according to Russian website "Stavka.tv".
According to the same source, CSKA Moscow's management is exploring the possibility of signing Nice midfielder Hicham Boudaoui, as they aim to bolster their midfield in preparation for the new season. The Algerian player's name has emerged among the options on the club's table.
The Russian team's interest is based on the journey that Hicham Boudaoui has marked with Nice since joining the club in 2019, having played 207 matches in various competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 15 assists, along with his experience with the Algerian national team.
Hicham Boudaoui's ability to play multiple roles in midfield, along with his experience in European competitions, adds value to the player and may be among the factors that led CSKA Moscow to include him in their list of targets during the current transfer window.
If these interests turn into formal negotiations, the "Les Verts" midfielder may find himself facing the prospect of a new experience outside of Ligue 1 after seven seasons spent with Nice, during which he established his place and became one of the experienced elements of the team.
