Mahdi Suleiman to guard Zamalek's goal against Abu Qir in the league

According to "Youm7" newspaper, Zamalek's starting lineup for today's match against Abu Qir Fertilizers, in the 4th round of the Premier League, is expected to see goalkeeper Mehdi Soliman regain his place to protect the team's net after missing the last match against the Djibouti champions in the Champions League.

Zamalek are set to face Abu Qir for Fertilizers this evening at Cairo International Stadium in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Mahdi Suleiman was left out of Zamalek's squad in the last match against the Djibouti champions in the CAF Champions League, which saw Mohamed Sobhi starting in goal.

The newspaper reported that Mo'tamed Gamal, the coach of Zamalek, prefers to continue applying the principle of rotation among goalkeepers. This approach was clearly evident in the team's last match, where the duo Mohamed Awad and Mohamed Soliman were completely excluded from the squad, allowing the pairing of Mohamed Sobhi and Omar Abdelaziz to participate.

Mahdi Suleiman will be the first-choice goalkeeper for Zamalek in today's anticipated match against Abu Qir for Fertilizers. Meanwhile, his teammate Mohamed Awad will be on the bench as an alternative option ready to step in.
