ACF Fiorentina have officially appointed Paolo Vanoli as the new head coach of the first team, marking the coach's return to lead the 'viola' once again after leaving the club at the end of last season.

ACF Fiorentina has officially stated: "ACF Fiorentina announces the appointment of Paulo Vanoli as the head coach of the first team."

The club expressed gratitude to the coach for his immediate and enthusiastic agreement to return to lead the first team.

Vannoli returns to ACF Fiorentina after taking charge of the team in November 2025, leading them to secure their place in Serie A and reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Vannoli returns following the dismissal of Fabio Grosso, who left his position after ACF Fiorentina's disastrous start to the league, which saw the team suffer three consecutive defeats.
