Raja Club announces signing of Tunisian Adel Bettaieb

Raja Club announced today, Saturday, that they have officially signed Tunisian striker Adel Bettaieb during the current summer transfer window, in a free transfer deal that extends until 2028.

Adel Bettaieb has joined Raja Club after a few weeks of mutually terminating his contract with Espérance Sportive de Tunis, following a brief stint with the Tunisian team.

Adel Bettaieb had signed a two-season contract with Espérance de Tunis in July, but the experience ended quickly amid reports of a dispute regarding the payment of his salary, in light of Tunisian laws concerning hard currency.

The Tunisian striker is 29 years old and has previously played professionally in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Türkiye, and Romania. His last stint was with the Romanian club Argeș Pitești, where he delivered good attacking performances.

Raja Club hope that Adel Bettaieb will be a strong addition to their attacking line, especially with his European experience and ability to play as a striker and on the left wing.
