Torino turn the tables on Fiorentina and deepen their wounds in Serie A

Fiorentina suffered another defeat in Serie A, losing 2-1 at home to Torino on Saturday evening, in the third round of the competition, as coach Fabio Grosso's team continues its disastrous start to the season.

Fiorentina took the lead in the 48th minute through Matteo Pellegrini, looking set for their first win of the season, but Torino refused to give in and managed to come back into the match during the second half.

Rolando Mandragora equalised for Torino in the 74th minute, before Ché Adams scored the winner for the visitors in the 82nd minute, following an assist from Algerian Rachid Ghezzal. Torino have secured their first three points of the season.

With this defeat, Fiorentina has continued to bleed points after losing their first three matches in Serie A, leaving them without a single point and at the bottom of the standings, in a start that puts coach Fabio Grosso and his players under significant pressure.

In contrast, Torino achieved their first victory of the season, raising their tally to 3 points after coming from behind to win a valuable away match, giving coach Inazios Abati a strong boost at the start of his journey with the team.
