FC Barcelona are set to face Valencia tomorrow, Sunday, at the Mestalla, aiming to strengthen their sole lead in LaLiga after Real Madrid's defeat to Real Betis. The team must also manage the players' efforts ahead of their UEFA Champions League campaign against Feyenoord on Wednesday.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", FC Barcelona will play four matches in ten days before the international break, prompting Hans Flick to rotate the squad and distribute minutes.

Rodri could start against Valencia after beginning the last two matches on the bench, as the midfielder needs to gradually increase his minutes on the pitch to reach optimal readiness ahead of the UEFA Champions League.

In the left-back position, Flick is considering starting João Cancelo instead of Espart, who has performed well and started in the first three matches. Gavi is also close to returning to the squad after completing yesterday's training, while Flick is waiting to determine Gabriel Jesus's readiness to participate.

In attack, Karim Adeyemi could get a chance to start, having only featured from the beginning in the match against Elche, with the possibility of resting Anthony Gordon who has started the last two matches.

FC Barcelona will travel to Valencia today before facing their team tomorrow at 5:15 PM at the Mestalla Stadium, marking the start of a series of four matches over ten days.
