Barcelona tightens security measures ahead of Feyenoord clash

FC Barcelona tightens security measures ahead of their match against Feyenoord on Wednesday, September 9, at Spotify Camp Nou, in the opening of their UEFA Champions League campaign.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", the club will implement a special security protocol for high-risk matches, tightening oversight on ticket sales and preventing Feyenoord fans from being in areas designated for FC Barcelona supporters.

Tickets will be non-transferable and fans will need to present official identification alongside their ticket upon entry. Tickets will not be sold at the box office at Spotify Camp Nou, with restrictions imposed on sales by tour operators.

Security presence will be increased at entrances and in the stands, with identity and visual checks for fans wearing Feyenoord clothing or carrying Feyenoord symbols to ensure they have not obtained tickets illegally.

FC Barcelona will coordinate these measures with Feyenoord and the Urban Guard and the Mossos d'Esquadra police, conducting a daily analysis of ticket sales to monitor any fraudulent activities. In the event of violations being discovered, they will be referred to the disciplinary committee for appropriate action.
