Martial offered to Everton in new surprise
talkSPORT has revealed that French forward Anthony Martial has been offered to Everton, as the English side is in urgent need of a new striker following the failure of the Folarin Balogun deal in the final hours of the transfer window.
Anthony Martial, 30, has become a free agent since his departure from CF Monterrey and is said to be open to a return to the Premier League, after two years away from Manchester United.
French striker Anthony Martial scored 63 goals and provided 33 assists in 209 matches for Manchester United, but he has struggled significantly since leaving Old Trafford, netting only 9 goals with AEK Athens before managing just one goal in 20 matches with CF Monterrey.
Everton find themselves in a difficult attacking position after selling Beto and failing to sign Folarin Balogun, in addition to Manchester United rejecting a late offer for Joshua Zirkzee, leaving Thierno Barry as the only outright striker in the team at present.
Therefore, Anthony Martial could represent an available option for Everton from the free agents market, although reports suggest that the player has been offered to the club, and there is no agreement or advanced negotiations for his signing yet.
