Feyenoord reject Saudi offer of 30 million for Hadj Moussa

Feyenoord have rejected an offer from Al Ittihad to sign Algerian winger Anis Hadj Moussa, according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

The newspaper clarified that the federation submitted a bid of just under €30 million on Wednesday evening, but Feyenoord decided to reject it, given the club's inability to compensate for the player's departure at this time.

Feyenoord's decision comes just days before their Champions League campaign begins, as they prepare to face FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou next Wednesday. This follows the departure of striker Ayase Ueda to Lille in France last week.

Anis Hadj Moussa, 24, had previously turned down a move to the Saudi league after Al Ahly FC made a nearly identical offer to sign him from Vitesse, while the player's desire to accept the latest offer from Ittihad remains unclear.

Anis Hadj Moussa has joined Feyenoord in 2024 from Belgian side Patro Eisden for around €3.5 million, following a loan spell with Vitesse. He played 86 matches with the Dutch team, scoring 26 goals and providing 13 assists.
