Al Nassr coach and Al Hilal goalkeeper named best in August in Saudi Pro League

Australian Ange Postecoglou, the head coach of Al Nassr, has been awarded the Coach of the Month for August in the Saudi Pro League after leading 'Al-Nassr' to a perfect start in the 2026-2027 season.

Al Nassr have achieved a perfect score in their first four rounds, collecting 12 points from 12 after victories over Al-Fateh, Al Riyadh, Al-Ettifaq, and Al-Taawoun.

At Al-Hilal, Moroccan Yassine Bounou has been awarded the Best Goalkeeper in the Saudi Pro League for August, following his starting appearances in the first four rounds.

Yassine Bounou played every minute for Al-Hilal, totaling 360 minutes, conceding only 3 goals while keeping a clean sheet in two matches.

Al-Hilal have achieved four consecutive victories, defeating Al-Faisaly 4-2, Al-Fayha FC 3-0, and Al-Khaleej 5-1, before beating Al Ahly FC with a three-goal haul.

In contrast, Hamed Al-Shanqity, the goalkeeper of Al-Khulood, has been awarded the Best Young Player in the Saudi Pro League for August, after starting in all four rounds.

Hamed Al-Shanqity has completed 360 minutes with Al Riyadh, averaging 90 minutes in each match, during which he conceded 5 goals and received 2 yellow cards.
