AS Monaco's CEO Tiago Skuro has confirmed that the club will hold talks with American striker Folarin Balogun regarding a potential move to another club. This comes after the collapse of his transfer to Everton on the last day of the transfer window.

Folarin Balogun had traveled to England and underwent medical examinations in preparation for a transfer to Everton, in a deal valued at around €50 million, plus incentives, before concerns arose during the medical that prompted the English club to renegotiate with AS Monaco regarding the value of the deal.

According to reports, a new agreement was later reached between the two clubs, but Balogun ultimately decided not to complete the transfer after feeling uncomfortable with the way Everton's medical staff handled his condition.

Skuro explained that AS Monaco and the player's medical team did not see the concerns raised by Everton as a genuine health issue, noting that Balogun's decision was personal and that the club respects it.

After the deal fell through, Folarin Balogun's future with AS Monaco is now in question as the club intends to sit down with the player to discuss the possibility of a move to another destination, especially since the transfer window in England has already closed.

Folarin Balogun, 25, has scored 31 goals in 91 matches for AS Monaco across all competitions over the past three seasons.
