Martinelli's status for Al-Hilal's match against Al-Shabab

Gabriel Martinelli is close to making his debut for Al-Hilal after arriving in Al Riyadh to complete his transfer from Arsenal.

Al-Hilal are preparing to face Al-Shabab on Friday evening in the fifth round of the Saudi Pro League, with anticipation surrounding the Brazilian winger's participation in the derby.

Al-Hilal have agreed to sign Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal for a long-term deal worth over €65 million, including incentives and bonuses related to the transfer.

Italian coach Simone Inzaghi is working to prepare the player quickly, in order to benefit from his speed and attacking abilities in the upcoming phase.

Inzaghi may give Gabriel Martinelli a chance to participate in part of the match against Al Riyadh, similar to what he did with Englishman Ollie Watkins, who recently joined Aston Villa.

Gabriel Martinelli is expected to be Al-Hilal's third foreign signing from the Premier League during the current summer transfer window, following Dutchman Chrisenio Samarfiel and Englishman Ollie Watkins.

Samerville has joined Al-Hilal from West Ham United, while Watkins has arrived from Aston Villa, as Martinelli nears adding his name to the list of new arrivals.
