Adel Bettaieb arrives in Morocco ahead of joining Raja Club
Tunisian striker Adel Bettaieb, 29, has arrived in Morocco to finalize his transfer to Raja Club, pending medical tests and the completion of administrative details before the official announcement.
Adel Bettaieb is set to undergo medical examinations in the coming hours before completing the remaining procedures related to his contract with Raja Club, which has reached an agreement to sign him on a free transfer.
The Tunisian striker has ended his association with Espérance Sportive de Tunis by mutual consent, after a very short period following his signing with the team. This was due to disagreements related to the payment of his financial dues, which made the player available for free, allowing Raja Club to finalize negotiations in their favor.
According to available data, the contract that will bind Bettaieb to Raja Club is expected to last for two seasons, and he will be registered as a local player in the team's lists, rather than as a foreign player, due to his Moroccan roots from his mother’s side.
Adel Bettaieb is known for his ability to play in multiple positions in the forward line, as he excels as a central striker as well as in the left winger position, which gives him the opportunity to participate in various attacking options.
The player had an impressive performance last season with Argeș Pitești, having played 41 matches in various competitions, during which he managed to score 11 goals, along with providing 2 assists.
Upon arriving in Morocco, Adel Bettaieb is on the verge of completing his transfer to Raja Club, awaiting the completion of medical examinations and administrative procedures, before the official announcement of his joining the green team.
