Venecia officially reveals new stadium expected to open in 2027

Venezia has unveiled new images and designs for its future stadium as part of the 'Bosco dello Sport' project, which is being constructed in the Tessera area near Marco Polo Airport.

The new stadium has a capacity of 18,500 spectators and is designed to host football matches at the Serie A level, as well as rugby matches, concerts, and major events.

Construction of the stadium began in October 2025, as part of a massive project covering 116 hectares, with a capacity for concerts and large events of approximately 24,400 spectators.

The stadium was originally scheduled to open in the spring of 2027, but the latest timeline indicates that completion is now expected in the autumn of 2027, with the possibility of Venezia playing their first match at the new ground in early 2028.
