After Hossam Abdelmaguid's first appearance, Ludogorets announces Nahmias' departure

Ludogorets have announced the departure of defender Idan Nahmias from the team, bringing an end to the Israel international's time at the club as he returns to his league with Hapoel Be'er Sheva.

Hossam Abdelmaguid's departure came just hours after the Egyptian international made his first start for Ludogorets during the match against Spartak Varna in the seventh round of the Bulgarian league.

Hossam Abdelmaguid played the full match in his first start since joining Ludogorets from Zamalek during the summer transfer window, having come on as a substitute for six minutes in the previous match against Slavia Sofia.

Hossam Abdelmaguid has joined Ludogorets for €1.5 million after representing Egypt in the FIFA World Cup 2026, marking the start of his first professional experience outside of Egyptian football.
