Nottingham Forest push to sign Jacob Murphy

Nottingham Forest are intensifying their efforts to sign Newcastle winger Jacob Murphy before the transfer window closes, in a bid to secure the deal in the final hours.

According to Alex Crook from TalkSport, Nottingham Forest are pushing hard to secure the services of the player, having already begun discussions with Newcastle's management regarding the possibility of completing the deal.

Newcastle are not opposed to Jacob Murphy's departure in principle, especially as the player enters the final year of his contract with the club, which makes the club open to considering offers made for him.

However, the deal still needs a final agreement between the two clubs, while Nottingham Forest are working to expedite negotiations ahead of the transfer window deadline.
