Gabriel Jesus: Presentation date for FC Barcelona's new signing

Gabriel Jesus, the Brazilian forward of Arsenal, is preparing to arrive in Barcelona today, Monday, in order to complete his transfer to the Catalan club, where he will undergo a medical examination before signing his contract and being officially presented on Tuesday.

According to "Mundo Deportivo", Gabriel Jesus, aged 29, will sign with FC Barcelona for two seasons, with the possibility of extending for a third season, for €10 million that the Spanish club will pay to Arsenal.

The Brazilian forward is expected to arrive at the private travel terminal in FC Barcelona this afternoon before heading for the required medical examinations and completing his transfer procedures.

Gabriel Jesus will be officially presented on Tuesday after FC Barcelona's match against Rayo Vallecano at Spotify Camp Nou on Monday evening, as part of the third round of La Liga, at 10:30 PM Cairo time.

Gabriel Jesus arrives to strengthen the striker position at FC Barcelona, a position that Hans Flick spoke about needing at the end of the season, before Deco confirmed this need on August 19 following the Joan Gamper Cup match.

Gabriel Jesus is the available option to replace Robert Lewandowski, while the possibility of signing Julián Alvarez during the upcoming transfer windows is being considered. He will also provide the team with an additional option in the attacking line following the departures of Lewandowski, Ferran Torres, and Marcus Rashford.
