Wydad and Al-Ittihad Eye Esperance Star Florian Danho

French forward Florian Danho of Tunisian side Esperance has caught the eye of several Arab and African clubs, as movements are underway to secure his services during the current summer transfer window.

French journalist Santi Aouna, a correspondent for the 'Foot Mercato' network, revealed that Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca has made an initial offer to Esperance for the signing of Danho, but the Tunisian club's management rejected the proposal.

Ona clarified via his official Twitter account that Wydad is still committed to the idea of signing the French striker, suggesting that the Moroccan club is likely to return with a new offer in the upcoming period, in an attempt to reach an agreement with Esperance regarding the deal.

In this context, the French journalist noted that the Libyan Union has entered the competition, having also made an attractive offer to acquire Danho's services, whether for the player or his club, Esperance.

According to the same source, the French striker is currently evaluating the options available to him, given the numerous offers interested in signing him.

Danho caught the eye last season while wearing the Esperance jersey, as he contributed to the team's advancement to the semifinals of the African Champions League, following their elimination of Al Ahly in the quarterfinals.

The 26-year-old French forward joined Esperance in the summer of 2025 from Danish club Randers, making 38 appearances for the team, during which he scored 8 goals and provided 3 assists.
