Strict penalties from Al Ahly FC on team players

A source from Al Ahly FC clarified the truth about punishing the team's players financially after the defeat in the first two rounds of the Egyptian League, according to statements made by journalist Khaled El Ghandour.

Khaled El Ghandour added on his show "Stadium Al Mehwar": "The club's board has decided to deduct 150,000 Egyptian pounds from each player after the loss to Zamalek SC by three goals to nil, as well as the defeat in the first round against Abo Qir by a single goal."

Zamalek SC secured a 3-0 victory over Al Ahly Bank last Wednesday in the second round of the Egyptian League.

Al Ahly Bank is preparing to face Petrol Asyut next Monday at the Army Stadium in Borg El Arab in the third round of the Egyptian League.
