Hazem Emam Slams Zamalek Star

Hazem Emam, the former star of Zamalek, has criticized Ahmed Rabi, the midfielder of the first team at the White Castle, for his poor performance in yesterday's match against Al Ahly Bank.

The match between Zamalek and Al Ahly Bank, played yesterday Wednesday in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League, ended with a resounding victory for the Whites, who won 3-0.

Hazem Emam, in statements via "On Sports", said: "Ahmed Rabi, during one of Al Ahly Bank's attacks, was just walking on the pitch. Rabi should have been present in the penalty area of Zamalek during that attack."

He added: "Your laziness in thinking the ball is far away and that you won't score could have cost Zamalek the equalizer and turned the match around."

He continued: "Rabi is a good player, but he needs to anticipate the ball; he shouldn't just watch the play. He must be present around the edge of Zamalek's penalty area."
