Hazem Emam criticises Zamalek SC star

Hazem Emam, former star of Zamalek SC, has criticized Ahmed Rabie, midfielder of the first team at the White Castle, for the poor performance he displayed against Bank El Ahly yesterday, Wednesday.

The match between Zamalek SC and Bank El Ahly, which took place yesterday, Wednesday, in the second round of the Egyptian League, ended with a comfortable win for the whites by three goals to nil.

Hazem Imam stated in remarks via "On Sports": "Ahmed Rabie, during one of Bank El Ahly's attacks, was just walking on the pitch. Rabie should have been present in the Zamalek SC penalty area during that attack."

"Your laziness in seeing the ball far away and not going for the goal could have cost Zamalek the equalizer and turned the match around," he added.

He added: "Rabie is a good player, but he needs to anticipate the ball; he shouldn't just watch the game, he needs to be positioned around the edge of Zamalek SC's penalty area."
