Shobair criticises Ayman El Ramady after Bank El Ahly's loss to Zamalek SC

Ahmed Shobair has criticized Ayman El Ramady, the head coach of Bank El Ahly, following their 3-0 defeat against Zamalek SC on Wednesday in the second round of the Egyptian League.

Ahmed Shobair stated in a radio interview: "Ayman El Ramady surprised me personally with three changes that were stranger than others. When Rashad El Metwaly, the best player in midfield, was substituted, Mostafa Shalaby and Mohamed Reda also came off, and a very strange fourth change was the substitution of Ahmed Yasser Rayan. All of them create chances and threaten the goal."

He added: "There is a huge difference between changes that make a difference for winning and changes that make a difference for losing."

Shobeir touched on Ayman El Ramady's statements following the match, where the head coach spoke about the necessity of having a discussion with the players and reviewing what happened, especially considering the chances the team squandered during the game.

Shouber commented, saying: "The truth is I followed Ayman El Ramady's statements after the match, and he talked about the players and that there needs to be a moment of self-reflection. Well, Captain, you should also reconsider your own calculations."

He explained: "And I agree with you that the players have become spoiled and wasted many opportunities, but are the players the only ones who need to reassess? You also need to reassess your approach with them."
