Shobair Criticizes Ayman El Ramady After Ahly Bank's Loss to Zamalek

Ahmed Shobair has criticized Ayman Al-Ramadi, the head coach of the National Bank team, following their 3-0 defeat against Zamalek on Wednesday in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Shobir stated in a radio interview: "Ayman Ramadi surprised me personally with three changes that were stranger than some. When Rashed El-Motawly, the best player in midfield, was substituted, Mustafa Shalaby and Mohamed Reda also came off, and a fourth very strange change was the exit of Ahmed Yasser Rayan. All of them create chances and threaten the goal."

He added: "There is a world of difference between substitutions that make a difference for victory and substitutions that make a difference for defeat."

Shobeir addressed Ayman Ramadi's comments after the match, where the head coach spoke about the necessity of a moment of reflection with the players and reviewing what happened, especially regarding the chances the team squandered during the game.

Shobair commented: "The truth is I followed Ayman Ramadi's statements after the match, and he spoke about the players needing to take a moment for self-reflection. Well, Captain, you should also reconsider your own approach."

He explained: "I agree with you that the players have become complacent and wasted many chances, but are the players the only ones who need to reassess? You also need to reconsider your approach with them."
