Al Nassr Increases Bid for Lille Star, Just 5 Million Away from Deal
Al Nassr has increased its financial offer to secure the signing of Belgian Matias Fernandez from Lille, in a renewed attempt to finalize the deal during the current summer transfer window.
According to reports from The Sun, Al Nassr has made a new offer of around £52 million after Lille turned down an earlier attempt of £35 million.
The new offer from Al Nassr comes as the Saudi club remains committed to signing the player, who has become a clear target for the management of 'Al-Nassr' to bolster the team's ranks for the new season.
Despite a substantial increase in the financial offer, Lille has yet to agree to complete the deal, as the gap between the French club's demands and the proposed offer continues.
Lille is demanding an additional £5 million, which is the amount currently separating the two parties from reaching a final agreement regarding the transfer of Fernandes Pardo.
Al Nassr hopes to conclude negotiations quickly, especially after showing readiness to raise their financial offer. Meanwhile, Lille is seeking the highest possible return for parting with their player.
The transfer is awaiting new developments in the coming hours, as negotiations between the two clubs persist, with the possibility of Matias Fernandez's move to the Roshen League if the final fee is agreed upon.
