Cristiano Ronaldo included in Portugal's preliminary squad
Portugal's preliminary squad for the upcoming international break in November has seen the inclusion of veteran star Cristiano Ronaldo, amid expectations that he will be part of the final squad for the next two matches.
Cristiano Ronaldo's appearance on the preliminary list comes despite the punishment imposed on him, after the disciplinary investigation committee of the Portuguese Football Federation decided to suspend him for 30 days from representing the national team, in addition to fining him €255.
The decision comes after the Portugal captain left the national team's camp during the last international break due to a strained relationship with coach Jorge Jesus. This incident prompted the committee to take disciplinary action against him.
The Portugal national team is preparing to play two matches in November against Denmark and Wales in the UEFA Nations League, while everyone is awaiting Cristiano Ronaldo's final decision and his potential participation with his national team during this period.
