Sevilla Moves to Sign Peter Ratkov from Lazio
Sevilla has opened communications with Lazio to inquire about the possibility of signing Serbian striker Peter Ratkov, as the Spanish club seeks a new forward before the transfer window closes.
According to reports, Sevilla is exploring the possibility of signing Ratkov on loan with an option to buy, as this arrangement would suit the club's financial capabilities, especially given the difficulty in securing some other targets in the attacking line.
The situation is still in the inquiry and preliminary discussion phase, with no final agreement reached yet. Lazio appears open to the player's departure, especially after signing Andrea Pinamonti and with coach Gennaro Gattuso looking to reshape his attacking options.
Ratkov joined Lazio from Red Bull Salzburg last January for €13 million, but he has yet to make a significant attacking impact with the Italian side, which may push him to seek a new experience in La Liga.
