€10 Million Gap Halts Ismaila Sarr's Move to Galatasaray
Negotiations are ongoing between Galatasaray and Crystal Palace regarding the signing of Senegalese striker Ismaila Sarr during the current summer transfer window.
According to a report by Sport Witness citing Turkish journalist Kaya Timil, there is a financial gap estimated at €10 million between Crystal Palace's demands and Galatasaray's offer.
The English club values Sar, who is 28 years old, at around €55 to €60 million. Previously, Galatasaray made an offer of €40 million.
The Turkish club wants to finalize the deal by splitting the transfer fee into 4 or 5 installments, which is currently a priority for the Galatasaray management.
Sarr is pushing hard for a move to Istanbul, having missed several training sessions, and was not included in Crystal Palace's squad for the recent match against Everton.
The Senegalese forward had a standout season with Crystal Palace, scoring 21 goals and providing 2 assists in 45 matches, contributing to the team's triumph in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
