Official: Bournemouth Signs Di Gregorio from Juventus

Bournemouth has officially announced the signing of Italian goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio on a one-season loan from Juventus.

De Gregorio is 29 years old and previously played for Inter Milan, before having loan spells with Renate, Novara, and Pordenone. He then shone with Monza, helping the club achieve promotion to Serie A for the first time in its history.

The Italian goalkeeper has been awarded the Best Goalkeeper in Serie A for the 2023-2024 season, having kept a clean sheet in 14 out of 37 matches played across all competitions, before his transfer to Juventus in the summer of 2024.

De Gregorio stated after his signing: "I am very happy to be here. I believe that the decision to move to Bournemouth was the right one. I felt the club's desire to sign me and its ambition to continue developing and achieving great things. The Premier League is the most beautiful league in the world, and I am proud to be here and to have the opportunity to play at this level."

Di Gregorio will wear the number 20 shirt with Bournemouth, as he joins his new teammates in preparation for the team's first home match in the Premier League this season.
