The Financial Control Committee has imposed restrictions on Al Nassr due to accumulated debts and scheduled obligations exceeding 800 million Riyals, as part of measures aimed at regulating spending.

The decisions included contract renewals, as the extensions for Nawaf Al-Aqidi and Abdulrahman Ghareeb for three seasons were either rejected or suspended, along with goalkeeper Raghed Al-Najjar's contract for one season.

The oversight has extended to the youth teams, where the committee did not approve the renewal of several player contracts, confirming that financial measures apply to various teams within Al Nassr.

The committee proposed solutions to provide urgent liquidity, including loaning Sadio Mané or Abdullah Al-Hamdan to Ittihad, which did not receive approval from Al-Nassr's management.

The possibility of selling contracts for some professionals was raised, including defender Inigo Martinez and forward Angelo Gabriel, but the sports management refused to part with the duo to maintain the team's strength.

Al Nassr's management has moved to tackle the crisis by presenting a financial plan that includes solutions and guarantees related to efficient spending and the reorganization of commitments to bridge the funding gap.

The sports administration is concurrently working to reduce the local player roster to meet the approved number, especially with the promotion of a group of Under-21 players.

Al Nassr's management is awaiting the final official approval on the submitted procedures, in preparation for lifting the imposed restrictions, and to ratify the pending renewal contracts, alongside registering new signings.
