Lille Agrees Deal with San Lorenzo for Orlando Gile

French club Lille has struck a deal with Argentine side San Lorenzo to sign Paraguayan goalkeeper Orlando Ghel, according to Fabrizio Romano.

According to Romano, the transfer deal is valued at €3.6 million, with San Lorenzo retaining 50% of the proceeds from any future sale of the player.

The Paraguayan goalkeeper has reached an agreement on personal terms with the northern French club.

Giel shone brightly with the Paraguay national team during the 2026 World Cup, attracting the interest of several European clubs before nearing a move to Lille.
